Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

1. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is looking for a woman who scammed Walmart out of $1,800. According to a Facebook post from the MCSO, a video was captured showing the woman entering the 7855 Moffett Road Walmart location and telling a “new” cashier she was part of the human resources department and needed change. The woman walked away with $1,800 in cash, and deputies said the cashier was left with $125. Anybody who has information related to the incident is asked to call the MCSO at 251-574-8633 or go to the MCSO website. (WKRG News 5)
2. Two separate car chases occurred on the same road in Mobile on Wednesday night, according to Mobile Police. Two people fled from officers on Dec. 7 — the first incident involved an unidentified 17-year-old who did not stop for police at East Linwood and Eagle Drive at around 9:11 p.m. Then, at around 9:50 p.m., 19-year-old Jadarius Flott refused to stop for police and was later arrested. 3. Nelly will be performing a free concert in Mobile as part of Senior Bowl Week 2023. The Senior Bowl recently announced its public events for the week, including the Senior Bowl Summit on Feb. 2 and a parade to kick off Mardi Gras season on Feb. 3.
