Alabama ONE Credit Union on Thursday announced a series of leadership appointments

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama ONE Credit Union on Thursday announced a series of leadership appointments, which includes four vice presidents and one senior vice president.

Mary Kathryn Baker has been named vice president of marketing and development, where she will lead efforts to expand brand engagement and guide marketing initiatives.

A Cullman native and University of Alabama graduate, Baker joined Alabama ONE in 2022 after a 16-year career in print and television sales. She also serves as event chair for the Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation.
Ashley Cohen has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Cohen joined the credit union in 2022 and most recently served as Senior HR Generalist, focusing on performance, training and compensation. She is a member of the national, state and local chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Jason Eaves will serve as vice president of Consumer Lending, overseeing retail lending operations.
Eaves moved to Tuscaloosa in 2008, has 16 years of financial services experience and joined Alabama ONE in 2020.
Josh Hinton has been appointed vice president of mortgage lending after serving in multiple roles since joining the credit union in 2011. Hinton previously served as consumer lending manager and director of consumer lending before transitioning to mortgage operations.
Doug Shelby has also been promoted to senior vice president of risk and compliance. A Tuscaloosa native, Shelby has spent 19 years with Alabama ONE.
“These appointments reflect our unwavering commitment to building a leadership team that is forward-thinking and member-focused,” Alabama ONE CEO Whitney Oswalt said. “Each of these individuals brings unique strengths and a deep understanding of our mission. Together, they will help us innovate, grow and deliver exceptional experiences for our members across Alabama.”
