Route, Drink Specials Revealed For SantaCon Bar Crawl In Downtown Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Organizers of SantaCon 2025 in downtown Tuscaloosa are gearing up for this year's installment and announced the official route on Wednesday, along with drink specials for each location.

The annual event will begin with an opening ceremony at Druid City Brewing Co. on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., followed by the widely popular SantaCon Bar Crawl on Friday, Dec. 5.

As Patch previously reported, participants traditionally dress as holiday characters, with Santa suits being the most common garb.

The bar crawl will start at 7 p.m. at Houndstooth Bar, although organizers said guests are encouraged to arrive earlier.

SantaCon is free to attend but attendees are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys or toiletries, which will be collected at both Druid City Brewing Co. on Thursday and Houndstooth Bar on Friday.

All donations will benefit Turning Point — a nonprofit that provides services and advocacy for individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.

Here's a first look at the official route and drink specials for the SantaCon Bar Crawl on Friday

• 7 p.m. — Houndstooth: $3 Grinch shots. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate.
• 7:30 p.m. — Egan’s: $4 Irish North Stars.
• 8 p.m. — The Standard: $3 drafts and $5 Java bombs.
• 8:30 p.m. — Hoppers: $4 Rocky Balboas.
• 9 p.m. — Rabbit Hole: $4 slushies and $5 Bushwhackers.
• 9:30 p.m. — Innisfree: $5 Santa cocktail.
• Tinsel Trail event in Government Plaza
• 10:30 p.m. — Gray Lady: $5 butterbeer shots.
• 11 p.m. — Icon: $3 Fireball.
• 11:30 p.m. — Wheelhouse: $5 peppermint shots and $4 Santa’s Little Helper.
• 12 a.m. — Top Shelf: $4 Grinch shots.
• 12:30 a.m. — Nocturnal: $4 red velvet shots and $4 Angry Orchard.
• 1 a.m. — Grandstand: $4 spiked cider.
