“The Buccaneers are excited about this opportunity to partner with Influxer, and we are grateful that our student-athletes will not only generate money for themselves but also promote the College and the Athletics Department across the country,” SSCC Athletics Director Cara Crosslin said.

Crosslin said Influxer’s program uses a flat-rate pay structure, which the company says provides clarity and transparency by letting athletes know exactly how much they will earn per sale.

The partnership is non-exclusive, which will allow SSCC athletes to take advantage of additional NIL deals or endorsements.

Keith Miller, vice president of Influxer, said working with Shelton State has offered a close look at the department’s long-term vision for its athletes.

“They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long-term skills for life,” Miller said.
