The couple also expressed plans to send their children to Tuscaloosa Academy.

“Chloé and Ric’s generosity is a powerful reminder that our story extends beyond our campus,” TA Head of School Beckie Share said. “Their belief in investing in kids has elevated our campaign in a truly remarkable way. Their gift reflects the broader community’s confidence in the value of independent education in Tuscaloosa.”

The private school says its Building Excellence Campaign has now raised more than $5 million, including 170 individual gifts.

School officials noted in the announcement on Wednesday that 100% of Tuscaloosa Academy employees participated, collectively contributing $73,510.

Campaign funds will support construction of a 23,000-square-foot Athletic Center designed by Ward Scott Morris.
