TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says a Woodstock man was killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 171 in northern Tuscaloosa County.

ALEA said Hunter James Alexander Cook, 21, was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at about 10:10 a.m.

Investigators found that Cook was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred roughly 20 miles north of Northport.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
