1 Dead In Sunday Night Hit-And-Run In Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ — A 55-year-old man has died in a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of 8th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, according to police.

The hit-and-run occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday and involved a silver vehicle, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.

The car involved in the crash fled the scene eastbound on Camelback Road, police said.
