1 Seriously Injured In Phoenix Shooting

A shooting near downtown Phoenix has left one person with serious injuries. The suspect fled the scene and is still on the loose.

PHOENIX, AZ — A person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting west of downtown Phoenix on Monday, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The suspect in the shooting, which occurred near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Buckeye Road, fled the scene and remains on the loose, police said.

Traffic is currently restricted in the area of 19th Avenue and Buckeye, with police advising people to avoid the area.
