3 Teens Shot, 1 Killed On 27th Avenue In Phoenix
Police have only publicly identified the teen who died from his injuries.
PHOENIX, AZ — Three teens were shot in Phoenix Friday night and one of them has died from his injuries, according to Phoenix police.
Manuel Alejandro Covarrubias, 18, died at a local hospital from injuries sustained in the shooting, police said.
The other teens who were shot, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, were hospitalized for their injuries, according to police.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of North 27th Avenue, police said.
