4 Killed In Shooting At West Phoenix Home

PHOENIX, AZ — Four people are dead, including a gunman, and another was injured in a shooting inside a house in Phoenix Tuesday night, police said.

Two people, a man and a woman, died at the scene of the shooting, which was near the intersection of 62nd Avenue and Camelback Road, police said. Another pair of men later died from their injuries at the hospital, while a fifth victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police on Wednesday night identified the shooter as Gilbert Gonzalez, 26, whom they said shot and killed his grandfather, Isaias Tovar Sr.; his uncle, Isaias Tovar Jr.; and grandmother, Delia Noriega.

Gonzalez was shot and killed by an unnamed family member who returned fire during the incident, police said.

Authorities said that Gonzalez had been drinking alcohol and made suicidal statement prior to the shooting.
