Aldi Expands To Phoenix Area With 4 New Stores
One of the nation's largest grocers will make its Arizona debut this year with stores in Gilbert, Peoria, Goodyear and Chandler.

ARIZONA — The national grocer Aldi is heading to Phoenix. Store officials confirmed this week they will be expanding this year with four new locations in the Phoenix-area. Opening in November will be new sites at 2844 S. Alma School Road in Chandler and 24665 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria. On the slate to open come December are stores at 845 N. Estrella Parkway in Goodyear and 1801 Pecos Road in Gilbert.
Ninety new jobs will be created in the area as a result of the new openings, the Illinois-based grocery chain said in a news release announcing the Phoenix-area openings. Apply for these new jobs here.
Aldi began expanding in the western states in 2016, and store officials project to become the third-largest grocer nationally by the end of 2022.
