Anti-Trump Messages Projected Onto Camelback Mountain
Several Arizona-based organizations are protesting President Donald Trump with a light show projected onto Camelback Mountain in Phoenix.

PHOENIX — Camelback Mountain lit up with the words "Trump Failed Us" and a count of Americans lost to the coronavirus Tuesday night.
The projections were the work of several Arizona-based organizations encouraging Arizonans to vote President Donald Trump out of office in the days before the Nov. 3 election. Progress Arizona, Our Voice Our Vote Arizona, LUCHA, Mi Familia Vota, and Por Nuestras Familias PAC sponsored the light display.
"In these final days of the 2020 election, we are literally putting a spotlight on just how disastrous Donald Trump’s presidency has been for Arizona, and for America as a whole,”Emily Kirkland of Progress Arizona told Patch in a statement. “We hope it serves as a reminder to voters of how much is at stake this year.”

To date, nearly 225,000 Americans have died of the coronavirus. Approximately 5,905 of those deaths occurred in Arizona, according to the state's most recent data.
The messages also took Trump to task for his policy that separated immigrant children from their parents.
