Arizona’s 100 Best Public High Schools: New Rankings Released
New rankings from Niche rank the 100 best public high schools in Arizona.

BASIS Scottsdale is Arizona’s best public high school for 2019, according to a new set of rankings released by Niche.com this week.
The rankings were released as part of Niche’s 2019 K-12 rankings. BASIS Oro Valley, University High School in Tucson, BASIS Tucson and BASIS Chandler closed out the top five spots in the state.

According to Niche, the best public high school in the country is Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois.
To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
