Blues Guitarist Helps The Elderly: Phoenix Hero

PHOENIX — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Dan Murphy who nominated Carvin Jones of Phoenix. Not only is Jones a great guitar player, but he's doing great things for his community during the coronavirus pandemic. Jones is one example of individuals going out of their way to help others during a difficult time and that's why he's a local hero.
