Crash Closes I-17 Northbound Near Deer Valley Road

PHOENIX, AZ — A crash has closed Interstate 17 northbound near Deer Valley Road, the Arizona Department of Transportation said. Loop 101 eastbound and westbound on ramps to I-17 are also closed.

Three semi trucks were involved in a deadly crash Friday morning and one went up in flames, KTVK reports.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and seek another route, officials said.

"There is no estimated time to reopen the highway," ADOT said in an alert.
