Fiery Crash On Phoenix's Loop 101 Leaves 2 Dead; WB Lanes Closed

PHOENIX, AZ — Two people are dead following a fiery crash Saturday on Loop 101 in North Phoenix, according to a report.

Two cars were involved in the fatal crash, AZFamily.com reported, both of which caught fire following the accident.

All westbound lanes are closed at 7th Street, the Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted. Motorists should expect delays and seek an alternate route.

Eastbound lanes are unaffected by the closure, officials said.

It's unclear what led to the crash and if others were injured.
