Eastbound U.S. 60 Near Wittmann Closed Friday Morning After Crash

WITTMAN, AZ — The eastbound lanes U.S. Route 60, located northwest of Phoenix, remained closed Friday morning due to a deadly wrong-way crash, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
ADOT said the collision involved multiple vehicles and took place early in the morning along the westbound lanes of U.S. 60 near milepost 31 near Wittmann.
There is no timetable for the highway's reopening, according to ADOT. The agency is reminding drivers to expect delays and urging them to find an alternate route.
