  2. Phoenix is the No. 2 destination in the nation for people looking to buy a home in a new city. Across the nation, 30.2 percent of Redfin users considered moving to different metropolitan area in the third quarter of 2021. The No. 1 city on the list was Miami. (AZ Big Media)
  3. A new community health center that will focus primarily on serving women and children, and especially refugees, opened in Maryvale on Monday. The facility is the fourth Valleywise Health Center to open in the Phoenix metro area within the last two years. The facility will offer primary and pediatric care, OB-GYN services, and integrated behavioral health care. (ABC15 Arizona)
  4. The city is using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act to purchase and distribute bus passes to those who need them. The city devoted $1 million of the funds it received through the act to help transit-dependent resident continue to get where they need to go. (KJZZ)
