50 Arrested In Human Smuggling Bust At Phoenix Home
Border patrol agents said 50 people were found at a Phoenix home after they served a search warrant Wednesday morning.
PHOENIX — A human smuggling and drug organization was busted Wednesday morning when border patrol agents went to serve a search warrant at a Phoenix home, the agency said.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at a home near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency told Patch that 50 undocumented individuals were arrested at the home.

"This morning, as part of a multi-agency operation, Border Patrol assisted in the service of a search warrant at two locations in the Phoenix metro area," a spokesman for CBP said in a statement. "Approximately 50 suspected undocumented individuals were taken into custody. The case is under investigation and no further details are available at this time."
