Woman Arrested In Connection With Glendale Ave. Homicide

Rene D. Perkins was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Isaack Drain in Phoenix near 17th Avenue and Glendale Wednesday.

PHOENIX, AZ — Rene D. Perkins, 48, was arrested Tuesday morning by Phoenix police in connection with the shooting death of Isaack Drain, 65, at a Phoenix home last Wednesday.

On Wednesday around 7 p.m., Phoenix police were called to a home near 1700 W. Glendale Ave. in response to a reported shooting. Officers arrived and found Drain with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In the meantime, police developed probable cause to take Perkins into custody. She was arrested Tuesday morning near 4300 N. Longview Ave., Phoenix police reported.
