Phoenix Apartment, Car Searched In Drive-By Shooting Probe
Mesa police searched a south Phoenix apartment complex and car Wednesday night in connection with the shooting that killed an infant.
PHOENIX — A south Phoenix apartment complex was the scene of a police search Wednesday night.
A spokesperson for the Mesa Police Department confirmed to Patch that a search warrant had been served near Seventh and Southern Avenues in connection with the Friday drive-by shooting at a Mesa food truck that killed a one-year-old baby and injured six others.
The spokesperson could give no other details as the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been made. The police department has offered a $20,000 reward for anyone with information on the fatal shooting.
Police said a person in an SUV stopped on Guadalupe Road and shot into a crowd of people eating outside food trucks in the parking lot around 9:30 p.m. Friday before speeding off.

Three adults and four children were injured. The children are ages 6, 9 and 16. A one-year-old infant died Sunday. The names of the victims have not been released by police.
