Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. Goodyear is looking for artists to spruce up traffic cabinets. Dubbed "Signal Art," Goodyear's new initiative will transform eight traffic cabinets into works of art with the help of local talent. The city is seeking local artists to participate, and selected artists will receive a stipend for their work. The project is intended to add a creative touch to the city's streets and deter graffiti. 2. Look out for the U.S. Postal Service at Phoenix's upcoming job fair. Ready to fill various positions (including mail carriers, rural carriers, and automotive technicians), the Postal Service will hire over 100 employees in the Phoenix area. Job fair attendees can apply for open positions on the spot. (Subscription: Daily Independent)
  3. A woman is accused of shooting and killing her ex-boyfriend in west Phoenix. Michelle Waller has been arrested for allegedly shooting and fatally injuring her ex-boyfriend, Michael Hill, in west Phoenix. According to reports, the incident occurred in a residence after Waller's erratic behavior spurred her roommate and her son to call the police.
