- The Phoenix Fire Department has opened applications for its firefighter and emergency dispatcher positions. The department is opening the application process through Aug. 29. The City of Phoenix is also offering a $7,500 hiring bonus for new firefighter recruits who are National Registry or state-certified paramedics. (All About Arizona News)
- The Phoenix-based Partner with a Principal program is meant to connect schools with businesses. The program will be from Sep. 19 through Oct. 14. Program participants will spend a day in a school administration. The deadline to apply for the program is Friday, Sep. 2. Click to apply. (Daily Independent)
- Cirque du Soleil will be performing in Phoenix from Dec. 16 through Dec. 24.
