Phoenix 2021 Election Results Update: See Voter Turnout By Issue
Here are the most updated school district funding numbers and turnout counts after Maricopa County released more results Thursday night.

PHOENIX, AZ — With nearly all ballots from Tuesday's election counted, Maricopa County released updated unofficial election results Thursday evening.
Those results show that 306,168 voters in Maricopa County cast a ballot, around a 21.71 percent turnout of eligible voters, the county clerk said in a news release. The county expects to post final results after 5 p.m. Friday.
Eight school districts in the city asked voters to continue revenue limit overrides for maintenance and operations or other needs.

Three districts asked voters to approve bonds for things like renovations and purchase of new equipment. The only district in the city of Phoenix where voters leaned toward not approving a bond request was Cave Creek Unified, with 10,902 votes against and 10,162 votes in favor. The district had asked for a $40 million bond. Cave Creek also had the largest turnout of registered voters among the school districts Tuesday, at more than 41 percent.
Arizona requires that school districts gain voter approval before exceeding their state-imposed budget limits. Districts must also get the OK from voters to sell bonds to fund large purchases or projects.
