Here are the top stories in Phoenix today:

  1. Phoenix ranked as the third best city in the nation for fast food lovers. The rankings were centered on access to fast food and the quality of the food, based on consumer surveys and fast food awards. The only two cities that ranked better than Phoenix were Orlando and Houston. (Phoenix New Times)
  2. The city of Phoenix launched a new mobile app Tuesday that lets users request city services, report problems and pay their bills, all in the same place. The app allows users to report things like out street lights, potholes and broken water mains. The app, called myPHX311, is available for Apple and Android systems. (Phoenix Patch)
  3. Pet owners in Phoenix are frustrated as they experience delays getting veterinarian appointments for their furry friends. The delays are caused by several factors including a shortage of veterinarians and vet techs as well as an increase in pets adopted during the pandemic. (Arizona's Family)
  4. Grand Canyon University is freezing tuition on its Phoenix campus for the 14th year straight. The private Christian university's tuition for next school year will remain at $16,500. The university expects that the average student will only pay $8,700 next year, because so many of its students receive scholarships. (KTAR.com)
