Phoenix PD: Car Discovered Belonging To Missing Woman

An abandoned car found in Deer Valley was revealed to belong to a woman missing since Sept. 4, the Phoenix Police Department said.

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is searching for a missing woman after her car was found abandoned in Deer Valley, the department said in a news release.

59-year-old Julie Concialdi was last seen on Sept. 4 around 7 p.m. at her home near 27th Avenue and Dove Valley Road. Police discovered her car later that night, which had been abandoned near 20th Avenue and Monona Drive.

"Her family is concerned for her welfare," Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said in a statement. "Phoenix police detectives are asking anyone who may have information concerning her whereabouts to contact the Phoenix Police Department Missing Persons Unit."

Concialdi is described as being just over 5 feet tall, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
