Sentari Minor Selected as Men’s Art Council Board Chair

New Board Members Bring Diverse Perspective to Organization

The Men’s Arts Council (MAC) of Phoenix Art Museum has elected Sentari Minor, president of the board. They are also pleased to welcome four new members: James Arndt, vice president, Craig Deslauriers, Richard Rowe, and Philip Wilson. All bring diverse backgrounds and experience to the board of directors.

Sentari Minor, Executive Vice President + Chief of Staff for evolvedMD, will serve as president. Passionate about bringing the best out of individuals and entities, Sentari is at the forefront of healthcare innovation with a scope of work that includes strategy, growth, branding, culture, and coaching. Prior to evolvedMD, he worked with some of the Nation’s most prominent and curious CEOs and entrepreneurs advising on philanthropy, policy, and everything social good as Regional Director of Alder (PHX + DAL + SFO) and strengthened social enterprises as Director at venture philanthropy firm, Social Venture Partners. He was named a Phoenix Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree in 2022 and is a two-time Titan 100.

James Arndt, Principal of Camelback High School, has been an educator for over 14 years. Born and raised in Arizona, James has always felt a deep commitment to giving back to his community. He has also served as a board member for the Arizona Trail Association and the Chairman for the “Yes for Creighton Kids” political campaigns. His connection to the Men's Art Council stems from a long-standing affinity for the Phoenix Art Museum, where he married his wife, Lauren. James has taken on a leadership role in the organization because it allows him to give back to the community while building meaningful friendships with others who share his love for art and service.

Craig Deslauriers, Commercial Banker at Bell Bank, has more than 20 years of comprehensive banking experience, including expertise in commercial lending, mortgage underwriting, and client relationship management. In his role, he serves as a trusted partner for businesses and individuals, providing full-service financial solutions that support long-term growth and success. A second-generation Valley native, Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix and a paralegal studies certificate from Phoenix College.

Richard Rowe is a retired Sales Manager from Post Cereal Company and currently works with the City of Phoenix. Mr. Rowe dedicated 25 years to a range of sales and marketing roles at leading food manufacturers including Nestle USA, General Mills, and Post Cereals. Having lived in Phoenix since childhood, he has remained actively involved in his community post-retirement. His experience includes teaching for a year in the Scottsdale Unified School District and his current role as Preserve Park Ranger II with the City of Phoenix Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Rowe is a graduate of the University of Arizona.

Philip Wilson is a long-time Arizona resident, having relocated from England in 1986. Phil practices law at May, Potenza, Baran & Gillespie, focusing on tax controversy matters. He is passionate about supporting the local arts community, primarily through his work with the Men’s Arts Council and the Artists in Residence program he started at his law firm. When not practicing law or enjoying art, you can find Phil out in nature cycling, climbing or running with his 16-year-old son.

The Men's Arts Council (MAC) of Phoenix Art Museum, founded in January 1967, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports the Museum's programs and activities through unique events such as the Copperstate Overland and the Copperstate 1000.
