Here are the top stories in Phoenix today:
- Concert-goers started a bonfire in the middle of the crowd during Slipknot's concert in Phoenix Tuesday night. The fire, fueled by things like lawn chairs and clothing, burned for around 30 minutes before Phoenix firefighters extinguished it. (Phoenix New Times)
- Maricopa County released updated Election Day vote totals Wednesday evening. The Wednesday update included ballots received Monday, the day before Election Day. One more vote total update is planned for Thursday evening, which will include ballots received on Election Day. There are still 31,000 ballots left to be counted. (Phoenix Patch)
- Cyber Ninjas is fighting demands to release records related to its review of Maricopa County's 2020 General Election. Maricopa County judges say that the records should be released per Arizona's public record laws. Cyber Ninjas says its records are private, even though its audit was of a public election and ordered by the state Senate. (Associated Press)
- A United States Postal Service driver died Tuesday evening in a fiery crash. The driver was pulled over near a mail box when his postal service vehicle was hit from behind by a box truck. The box truck driver was seriously injured. (Phoenix Patch)
