  1. Wonder is a 3-year-old blind and deaf dog staying at Arizona Humane Society, and he wants to be your new best friend. He likes long walks on a short leash with his human nearby for reassurance, as well as meeting new people and canine friends. Wonder has been working with the Humane Society's behavior specialist and has gone through quite the transformation since he arrived there about a month ago. (Phoenix Patch)
  2. It's looking as though rental prices in Phoenix may finally be starting to cool down as more units go on the market and landlords realize that their rentals are overpriced. This will come as a relief to those struggling to find affordable housing in the city, which had become difficult to impossible for many. (Arizona's Family)
  3. Scottsdale startup Meta PC filed for a trademark for the name "Meta" before Facebook's parent company announced it was changing its name to Meta Platforms Inc. Now the Scottsdale company is asking $20 million for the trademark rights. (ABC15 Arizona)
  4. For the ninth year in a row, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University was No. 1 in the state for the rate its students passed the bar exam. Four of the school's 2021 graduates achieved the highest scores on the exam in the state. (ASU News Now)

  • Arizona Humane Society: "Haven’t you heard? 13 is the new 3! Both at 13-years-young, Gore and Ginger are currently AHS’ oldest feline residents. Both of these kitties were surrendered by their previous owners because they could no longer provide the care they needed." (Facebook)
  • City of Phoenix: "Have you ever noticed the artistry that went into building the pedestrian crossing of State Route 51 at Paradise Lane? Inspired by Native American basketry, the safety cage features an elaborate weave of transparent and opaque metal strips. The woven metal safety cage creates a beautiful play of light and inside the bridge. The galvanized metal strips are perforated at the bottom for transparency and visibility. They are solid overhead to cast more shade. The unique switchback path of the access ramps was designed to limit the bridge's physical impact on the neighborhood." (Facebook)
