Teen Shot At Cesar Chavez High School
Police have still not identified or located a suspect.
PHOENIX, AZ — A teenager was shot this afternoon at Cesar Chavez High School in Phoenix, according to Phoenix police.
The 16-year-old boy was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that were not life threatening, police said.
As of Monday evening, police had not located or identified the suspected shooter. Police believe the boy who was shot was involved in some sort of altercation on campus just before he was shot, minutes after school released for the day.

Phoenix Police ask that anyone with information about the shooting call the department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS if they want to remain anonymous or be eligible for a cash reward.
