2 Arizona Lottery Winners Take Home $1.4M, $414K

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Two lucky Arizona Lottery players woke up with a boatload of money Monday, after lottery officials said two people won big jackpots over the weekend in Scottsdale and Mesa.

A spokeswoman for the state's lottery system told Patch someone bought a ticket through The Pick Jackpot worth $1.4 million. The winning ticket was sold Saturday at Bashas on East Indian School Road, near North Hayden Road in Scottsdale. The winning numbers were: 4, 9, 10, 27, 39, 40.

On Sunday, a lucky player bought a ticket through the Fantasy Five Jackpot and won $414,000, officials said. That ticket was sold at 3 Brother's Food Mart on East Broadway Road, near South Val Vista Drive in Mesa. The winning numbers were: 10, 11, 12, 24, 29.
