- Arizona Forward will be hosting its 41st annual Environmental Excellence Award in April, and Scottsdale's own Bell94 Sports Complex has been named a finalist. The award ceremony is the state's "most prominent environmental awards program and is a benchmark for economic and environmental accomplishment." The sports complex hosts national tournaments and is also a space for parking during special events, such as the Barrett Jackson car show and WM Phoenix Open golf tournament that attract millions of visitors to Scottsdale every year. - The Tempe mayor’s All-Abilities Awards (formerly the Disability Awards) is now accepting nominations for its 34th annual celebration. The awards event recognizes and celebrates people and businesses who make the city better for those with disabilities. You can read about eligibility requirements and submit your nominations here. - Las Vegas will see an Old Town Scottsdale bar pop up on the strip in 2024. Bottled Blonde, owned by the Evening Entertainment Group (EEG), will open a bar inside a four-story, 25,000-square-foot club on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. "We have always wanted to be in Vegas, but we never knew if we'd have an opportunity on the Strip," the founder of EEG, Les Corieri, said. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
