Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. This year's Arizona Strong Beer Festival will be at a new location! The festival is relocating to Silver River Fields at Talking Stick adjacent to Scottsdale and will take place Saturday, Feb. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organizers are anticipating nearly 10,000 attendees who will be coming to sample favorite beers and new offerings from over 100 different breweries. (citysuntimes)
  2. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is coming to WestWorld of Scottsdale starting Sunday, Feb. 26. The 11-day event will bring in an estimated 300,000 attendees, nearly half likely to be from out of state. The show will feature competitions, displays, gala parties, seminars, and more than 250 vendor booths. (Subscription: Daily Independent)
  3. A new report from Colliers in Arizona estimates that the Scottsdale Airpark employee base will grow to around 70,000 by the year 2030. Although demand for commercial space in the area is exceeding the current supply, the Scottsdale Airpark is quickly developing new space at "a healthy pace." (AZ Big Media)
