Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- The Art on the Boardwalk festival is happening this weekend to celebrate spring with live music entertainment while attendees shop and browse specialty arts and crafts items from local and regional artists. The festival will take place in the heart of the nearby Talking Stick entertainment district on the Arizona Boardwalk from Friday, Mar. 10 through Sunday, Mar. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (citysuntimes)
- The Scottsdale Fire Department reported two people injured on Mar. 9 after a car crashed into a Scottsdale Starbucks. There were more than 20 people inside the building at the time of the crash, and officials said that reports tell them mere minutes before the car drove into the store, at least five or six people were in the exact spot waiting for coffee where the car eventually came to a stop. The two people who were injured reportedly refused medical treatment. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
- Scottsdale-based stock investing company The Laser has announced that it developed a new app that would help investors make more informed stock market decisions. The app officially launched to the public on Wednesday in Apple's App Store and Google Play. (Subscription: The Business Journals)
