- The Barrett-Jackson 2023 Scottsdale Auction has raised more than $150 million for charity this week. Several cars were put up for the benefit of different charities throughout the week, including a 2021 Shelby Super Snake County's Kustoms edition, which sold for $350,000 and helped push the charity fund total over the $150 million mark on Friday. - The Scottsdale Police Department thanked the community for its help in the department's recent arrest of vehicle arson suspect Bradley Holmes. Holmes is suspected of using Molotov cocktails to commit vehicle arson in multiple incidents in January. (Subscription: The Arizona Republic)
- The Scottsdale Police Department released a video of an officer-involved shooting from Jan. 6 in Phoenix. During the incident, a Scottsdale sergeant was injured by gunfire and taken to the hospital. (Subscription: The Arizona Republic)
