Camelback Desert School Students Donate 1,000 Diapers to Local Charity

Students collected essential care items and toys for Child Crisis Arizona to help children in need

Students at Camelback Desert School in Scottsdale recently donated essential care items, gift cards, and toys to Child Crisis Arizona, which provides emergency shelter, foster care, adoption, counseling, early education, and parenting support services to Arizona’s most vulnerable children, youth and families. Throughout November and December, students held a donation drive to collect a variety of gift cards, 1,000 diapers, 50 packages of wipes, and several toys. Students worked together to load the items into a car to be delivered to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
