  1. Cardi B will be in Scottsdale for Super Bowl Week! She will perform live on Friday, Feb. 10 at the W Scottsdale hotel as part of an exclusive pre-game party, "Super Weekend." View the link to see W Scottsdale’s Super Week and Super Weekend lineup. (ABC 15)
  2. The Scottsdale Public Library will host "Living with Urban Wildlife" presentations to facilitate living in the Sonoran Desert, which means sharing the space with various animals, including coyotes, javelinas, and bobcats. Urban Wildlife Specialist Darren Julian and Officer Debra Groves, wildlife manager, will share what attracts wildlife, how to live with wildlife in local neighborhoods, and how to reduce human-wildlife conflicts. The two presentations will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Civic Center Library and on Monday, Jan. 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Mustang Library. (Signals AZ)

  • Residents in the Rio Verde Foothills only have days left of their water supply now that the community is no longer a part of Scottsdale's water supply plan. Last week, Rio Verde filed a lawsuit against Scottsdale. But Scottsdale had been warning residents of Rio Verde for a year that the water supply brought in by tankers could be cut off. The developers of Rio Verde bypassed a state law requiring them to provide a guaranteed water supply for the next 100 years. (KYMA)
