DUI Task Force To Work Area Of WM Phoenix Open: Police
The task force will be on the lookout for drivers under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A DUI Task Force is set to patrol the areas around the WM Phoenix Open golf tournament from Wednesday until Saturday this week.
"The goal of the officers assigned to the Task Force is to contact those drivers who have made the disastrous decision to drive impaired and remove them from the roadway before they hurt themselves or others," the Scottsdale Police Department said in a news release.
Anyone planning to drink alcohol or consume marijuana should find some alternate transportation home, instead of getting behind the wheel themselves, police said.
