Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

1. With the WM Phoenix Open and the Super Bowl taking place at the same time this month, the Scottsdale Police Department is stepping up and taking the lead to ensure public safety as they call in additional help. Other Valley police departments and state and federal agencies are planning to be around town to help manage the crowds and staff a special DUI task force. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
2. The Concert in the Coliseum officially kicked off the WM Phoenix Open on Saturday night. The performance featured Walker Hayes as the opening act for Maroon 5. An estimated 12,000 attended the stage, set up at the 16th hole. (Arizona's Family)
3. The Bell94 Sports Complex in Scottsdale is an award finalist for Arizona Forward's 41st annual Environmental Excellence Award. The awards program will be hosted on Saturday, Apr. 29. The sports complex was opened in 2022 and since then has hosted parking for the Barrett-Jackson car auction and the WM Phoenix Open.
