Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:

  1. Tucker Woodbury, the owner of popular establishments like The Vig, The Womack, and The Little Woody, is opening Night Owl Pizza and Drinks in Scottsdale on Mar. 8. The location at the northeast corner of Hayden and McDowell roads was originally planned as another version of The Little Woody. Woodbury said he decided to create "a cool little neighborhood dive with killer pizza" instead. (Subscription: The Arizona Republic)
  2. Mariia Kyreieva and her daughters, Veronika and Polina Prusakova, are Ukrainian refugees in Scottsdale and recently reflected on their move to the United States. They made a stop at a refugee camp in Poland and a stop in Madrid before ending up in Arizona and reconnecting with relatives. But their husband and father, Hennadii, had to stay behind. "I’m trying to start a new life for my children, but I miss him every day and every hour," Kyreieva said. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
  3. Goodyear police have arrested the driver of a pickup truck that collided with a group of cyclists over the Cotton Lane Bridge in Maricopa County on Saturday. The crash killed two and injured 11 people. Pedro Quintana-Lujan, 26, was booked on two counts of manslaughter, three counts of aggravated assault, 18 counts of endangerment, and two counts of causing serious injury or death by a moving violation.
