Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:

  1. A mysterious "boom" was heard over Scottsdale last the weekend. Many people in one east Valley city said they heard what sounded like an explosion early Sunday morning, some claiming they felt the vibration. There is ongoing speculation about what caused the boom, but no definitive explanation at this time. (AZ Family)
  2. A gourmet market and restaurant in Scottsdale will close just months after opening in Gainey Ranch. Gastromé Market is a gourmet food market, cheese and wine shop, and restaurant. Customers still have a few weeks to visit the concept located on Doubletree Ranch Road east of Scottsdale Road. (Phoenix New Times)
  3. Mack Real Estate Group has proposed a 1.2 million-square-foot Scottsdale industrial office park. The New York-based real estate group won the 124-acre site in March 2022 at an Arizona State Land Department auction. After nearly a year since acquiring the north Scottsdale site, Mack filed plans with the city to get approval for its development. (Phoenix Business Journal)
