New Flight Training Facility Coming To Scottsdale
Cirrus Aircraft is set to open its facility at the Scottsdale Airport in October, along with a satellite innovation center in Chandler.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Cirrus Aircraft is set to open a new flight training center in Scottsdale in October.
The facility, at the Scottsdale Airport, is set to provide, "highly personalized flight training and full-service aircraft management," according to a news release from Cirrus.
“The expansion of Cirrus Flight Training in Arizona continues our mission of providing world-class training through both our company-owned facilities and partner network around the world,” said Zean Nielsen, CEO for Cirrus Aircraft in the news release. “We are excited to begin offering this premium flight training service in Scottsdale that builds on our Cirrus Services initiative to redefine personal aviation through a world-class customer service experience.”

Cirrus also announced Thursday another expansion with two new innovation centers, one locally in Chandler and another in McKinney, Texas.
"The Chandler Innovation Center provides avionics, electrical and software engineering services, while the McKinney Innovation Center supports all engineering disciplines," Cirrus said in the news release.

Both innovation centers are already in operation and have plans for official ribbon cutting ceremonies in November, the company said.
Cirrus is recruiting locally for the Scottsdale and Chandler locations as well as for its other locations in Duluth, Minnesota; Grand Forks, North Dakota; Knoxville, Tennessee and McKinney, Texas.
