- The 69th Annual Parada del Sol Parade & Trail’s End Festival is coming to Old Town Scottsdale Saturday, Feb. 4. If you'd like to march in the parade with your local business, club, or organization, the Scottsdale Charros are still accepting entry admissions. (City of Scottsdale - Government)
- Police are investigating the use of Molotov cocktails in car fires in Scottsdale. Scottsdale Police suspect unnamed suspects used Molotov cocktails to start two vehicle fires on Jan. 7 near 8300 N. Hayden Road and Jan. 14 in the Postino Highland parking lot on north Scottsdale Road. Police are investigating if the two incidents are related; anyone with information should call the Scottsdale Police Department. (Your Valley)
- It's been two weeks since the Rio Verdes Foothills had its water supply cut. As reported yesterday, residents say they are on the verge of running out of their water supply after the city stopped selling water to the unincorporated suburb due to the ongoing drought. In late December, Scottsdale city officials announced it would stop selling water to Maricopa County residents in the Rio Verde Foothills. According to The Arizona Republic newspaper, Rio Verde Foothills residents have sued the city of Scottsdale. (Fox Weather)
