Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- Scottsdale woman looking for dogs that mauled her puppy
- A Scottsdale woman's 4-month-old puppy was mauled by two pit bulls while they were walking along a canal. The puppy, Ruby, was left with a shattered jaw and needed surgery. The woman is now trying to track down the owners of the pit bulls to prevent this from happening again to someone else, and Scottsdale Police Department officials say they are investigating. (Arizona's Family)
- NEARBY-Mesa police searching for a woman accused of murdering a man in early February
- The Mesa Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating 27-year-old Kathryn Hansen, who is suspected of shooting and killing 32-year-old Keith Emmons. Emmons was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in his home in nearby Mesa. Anyone with information regarding Hansen's whereabouts is asked to contact the Mesa Police Department or Silent Witness. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
- Nearly 11 children were evaluated by firefighters after coming into contact with pesticides at a Phoenix elementary school. The children reported feeling ill, and it was later discovered that weed killer was accidentally sprayed close to playground woodchips by a pesticide company that was working next door. Hazmat crews have responded to the scene, and there have been no reports of anyone being taken to the hospital. (Arizona's Family)
