PopStroke Entertainment Opening Scottsdale, Glendale Locations

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A golf entertainment company co-owned by legendary golfer Tiger Woods plans on opening Scottsdale and Glendale locations in the next 18 months.

PopStroke Entertainment, which is co-owned by Woods and Greg Bartoli, announced the expansion last week.

The Scottsdale location, in addition to ones in Houston; Delray Beach, Sarasota, Tampa and Orlando, Florida; and Glendale, are planned to open in the next calendar year, the company said.

The Scottsdale location will be at the Pavilions at Talking Stick; while the Glendale location will be inside the Westgate Entertainment District.

The company, which was founded in 2018, combines technology with golf and entertainment to create a 36-hole putting facility, combined with an outdoor eating area with a full menu, craft beer list, cocktails, outdoor games and a playground.

Each of PopStroke's locations has two 18-hole putting courses, complete with synthetic turf, fairways, bunkers and rough, as you'd find on a typical golf course.

Players can use PopStroke's mobile app to have food and drinks delivered to them anywhere on the course, while also using the app to show off their scores on a digital scoreboard and take part in the company's rewards program, the company said.

It has been rewarding to see the broad and diverse group of guests enjoying their experience at PopStroke, and I look forward to seeing players make those long putts in locations throughout the South and Southwest. Each new location will have a different course design and layout giving players unique putting challenges as they travel across the country."
