Road Rage Leads To Scottsdale Shooting: Police

A man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds after he was shot during a road rage altercation on Sunday, Scottsdale police said.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A man is in the hospital with gunshot wounds after he was shot during a road rage fight on Sunday, Scottsdale Police said.

The shooting took place just after 1 p.m. near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda Road. The other man involved in the altercation stayed on scene and no one else was involved, according to police. It is unclear if the second man was injured.

"We can confirm that the shooting appears to be the result of a road rage altercation," the department said in a statement.

Frank Lloyd Wright was temporarily closed between Cactus and Via Linda Roads immediately following the shooting.
