Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:
- Endangered monarchs and native butterflies are a prime topic at the Majestic Mariposas Exhibit for the Desert Botanical Garden. The endangered monarch butterfly passes through the Desert Botanical Garden every year during its migration. The garden is a valuable location for the milkweed plant on which the butterflies depend. - A Scottsdale teen business owner will be opening a second location of his coffee/flower crossover shop. Dylan Capshaw, 16, is the proud owner and operator of Stemistry, a shop that brews coffee and sells floral arrangements. The grand opening of the new location will take place on Mar. 26 at Sixth and Adam Streets in Phoenix and will feature live music and samples. (KTAR.com)
- Scottsdale Fashion Square is now home to a Life Time Fitness luxury athletic club. The fitness club was announced in November 2021 and opened yesterday, Mar. 3. The site includes a rooftop pool with a view of Camelback Mountain, a cafe, a sauna, and much more. The club will also feature fitness classes and a "state-of-the-art workout floor."
