- Work crews are in crunch time as they prepare TPC Scottsdale to host the WM Phoenix Open next week. The annual golf tournament will take place Feb. 6-12. Preparations for the event began in September, and after the event, it'll take about two months to take everything down. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
- All WM Phoenix Open fans will get free admission to the tournament here in Scottsdale on Monday, Feb. 6 and Tuesday, Feb. 7. The free access for the first two days of the event is sponsored by Arizona Ford dealers as part of Ford Free Days. (Queen Creek Sun Times)
- Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation will be opening two new exhibitions this month. The first exhibition, "Unintended Consequences," displays work by three artists using their craft to illustrate how human actions influence the ecosystem around us. The second exhibit will showcase the first collaborative installation by students participating in the Visions program, a program for high school visual arts students to give them experience working with professional artists and museums.
