Scottsdale Restaurant Offering Free Drinks To Phoenix Open Fans

SCOTTSDALE, AZ —Local fans of the WM Phoenix Open golf tournament may not think the weeklong party, which is sometimes called the "Greatest Show on Grass," can get any better. But one Scottsdale restaurant believes it has found a way to offer something extra to those attending "The People's Open" this year.

OEB Breakfast Co., located at 17757 N Scottsdale Rd. #103, has announced it is holding a "Show Us Your Tickets" promotion next month, which will allow people who attend the golf tournament to receive a free mimosa or brunch cocktail at the restaurant. The offer will be valid during the week of the open —Feb. 7 to Feb. 13 —and for up to one week after the tournament.

The restaurant is located just 2.6 miles from the TPC Scottsdale, site of the annual WM Phoenix Open.

"OBE Breakfast Co. is the perfect brunch spot for some good food and drinks before the 'Greatest Show on Grass.!'" the restaurant said in a statement. "OEB is only 7 minutes from the Waste Management Open, so it will be the brunch spot for all attendees!"

OEB actually is a Canadian chain, and Scottsdale currently is the only OEB location in the U.S.

According to a spokesperson for OEB, the restaurant's breakfast concept is the creation of celebrated Italian-Canadian chef Mauro Martina.

"The dishes at OEB are a creative and upscale spin on tried and true classics, bringing forth the artistry and passion that chef Martina brings to the table," an OEB spokesperson said.

Popular menu items include:

• Lobster & Shrimp Crepe: Butter poached lobster and shrimp scramble, green onions, brown butter hollandaise and truffle pearls

• Gnocchi Breakfast Carbonara: Gnocchi, double smoked bacon, brown butter hollandaise, Grana Padano cheese, cracked black pepper, raw yolk and petite watercress

• Gold Digga: Poached eggs, duck fat fried herb potatoes, fresh local cheese curds, Berkshire roast pork, black truffles and brown butter hollandaise
