Arizona Lottery is urging Powerball players to look through their junk drawers, glove boxes and pockets to find the winning ticket and claim their prize.

“This is an amazing opportunity for one lucky player to make their dreams come true and take home a truly life-changing win,” said Arizona Lottery Executive Director Gregg Edgar in the news release. “When a player wins big, other players are inspired to play and that results in more funds for a variety of vital programs and services across Arizona. So we encourage you all to check your tickets and look around your house before it’s too late. Who knows, this big winner might be you.”

An additional $250,000 went to the Dual Tribal Enrollment Fund and $1 million went to the Internet Crimes Against Children task force and Victims’ Rights Fund.

In addition to the $1 million unclaimed winning Powerball ticket, there are six more large prizes worth more than $1.2 million still waiting to be claimed, according to Arizona Lottery.
